Decadent entrance hall
The stunning entrance hall has been in the pipe line for over a year. Sadly, the fabric has been out of stock for quite a while but I have to agree, it was worth the wait!
Some projects begin with a single piece of fabric—and this one was no exception. For a client living in a beautifully restored barn in Suffolk, I was asked to help design and create soft furnishings for their entrance hall. The space had incredible character, and the brief was to create something luxurious, cohesive, and welcoming.
Inspired by Fabric, Designed for Flow
The entire scheme was built around a stunning Brunschwig & Fils velvet fabric chosen for the box seat cushions. Rich in texture and detail, it set the tone for the rest of the design. From there, I created two pairs of bespoke curtains, using complementary fabrics and adding a coordinating trims to tie everything together.
The trims; pompoms, thick brush fringe and fan trim were a powerful detail—it echoed the colours and motifs of the cushion fabric and helped unify the different elements of the room. In a space like an entrance hall, where first impressions matter, these touches make all the difference.
Luxury Craftsmanship for Suffolk Homes
This project was all about balance: rustic beams paired with refined textiles, heritage architecture softened by elegant drapery. The handmade cushions and curtains brought warmth and sophistication to the space, while respecting the barn’s original character.
MORE Projects

It’s not everyday you get asked to do Apex curtains and recently I have been lucky enough to work on two lovely projects and I was thrilled with the results as were my lovely clients.

A fantastic seating area for this summer. I was very reluctant to let these go but they look superb in their new home.

If you had an orangery how would you dress it? This lovely client went for a big bold embroidered pattern, which we managed to follow the design perfectly across the room.
