Terrarium curtains
Such a fantastic project to work on! This terrarium fabric by Sanderson has a luxurious sheen, handles really well when making and when hung provides the perfect drape.
Light-filled spaces deserve soft furnishings that enhance their beauty without overwhelming them. For this recent project in Norfolk, I was asked to design a complete soft furnishing scheme for a large dining room and conservatory. The brief was to create something elegant and layered, with a sense of flow and comfort throughout.
Double Pole, Double Impact
To achieve this, I installed a double pole system, allowing for both voiles and curtains to be used together. The voiles offered a soft filter for the natural light, perfect for daytime use, while the curtains added warmth and privacy in the evenings. This layered approach gave the room flexibility and a beautifully finished look.
The client chose a timeless Sanderson fabric for the curtains—classic, refined, and full of character. It worked beautifully with the architecture of the space and added a gentle richness to the overall palette.
Cushions to Complete the Look
To tie everything together, I created a set of bespoke cushions using the same Sanderson fabric. These added comfort and cohesion to the seating areas, making the conservatory feel like a true extension of the home.
MORE Projects

It’s not everyday you get asked to do Apex curtains and recently I have been lucky enough to work on two lovely projects and I was thrilled with the results as were my lovely clients.

A fantastic seating area for this summer. I was very reluctant to let these go but they look superb in their new home.

If you had an orangery how would you dress it? This lovely client went for a big bold embroidered pattern, which we managed to follow the design perfectly across the room.
